}

Solution

Transparent mechanism of goat marketing based on live weight

Target Beneficiaries

Smallholder goat keepers and traders

Innovation Description

The mobile application allows for improved coordination between goat cooperatives and their members with market agents on various aspects of goat marketing. This saves time and money for the buyers as they do not need to drive around looking for animals for sale. It also empowers the cooperatives as they will have a wider choice of potential buyers and don't need to settle for a lower price than initially planned.

Competitive Advantage

Existing solutions do not utilize smartphone technology and are not designed with female cooperatives
